Coaching Skills for Leaders
Many organisations are embracing the value of leaders' adopting a coaching style. Leaders who use coaching skills are better able to motivate and empower those they lead, and work with their peers and bosses in ways which improve productivity and reduce friction. Coaching training with leaders involves teaching the core skills of coaching (active listening, attending, powerful questioning), how to create the right environment for coaching discussions (rapport, trust, confidentiality), and frameworks for structuring coaching conversations.
An introduction to coaching skills is covered in a one day workshop involving some knowledge sharing around theory and a lot of practical work.
